Terms and Conditions

By booking a Little Soldiers First Aid Course and completing the payment, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Payment

Payment for your course should be made at the time of the booking or at least 14 days prior to the session. Should the payment not be received in this time, Little Soldiers First Aid reserves the right to refuse the course being undertaken. Exceptional circumstances will be considered at the discretion of Little Soldiers First Aid.

The payment can be made either by cheque or bank transfer. 

Cancellation

Verbal or written notice of cancellation can be made in advance of attending a scheduled course, however, the following cancellation fees will then be payable:

More than 14 days in advance of the scheduled date - None

Between 7 and 14 days in advance of the scheduled date - 50% of course cost

Less than 7 days before the scheduled date - 75% of course cost

Liability

Little Soldiers First Aid courses are designed and taught using guidelines and information provided by the appropriate councils and organisations. The training given by Little Soldiers First Aid is to the best of our knowledge, up to date and evidence based & we cannot accept any responsibility for misinterpretation of the advice given. Little Soldiers First Aid would always advise parents or carers to seek medical advice if they are at all concerned about the health of their child, or call 999 in an emergency.

Any information provided by Little Soldiers First Aid (on a course, via this website or documentation given) should not be substituted for any medical advice given by health professionals and we cannot take responsibility or liability for actions taken or diagnoses made by the user. 

Little Soldiers First Aid will take no responsibility for any injury sustained at the venue.

During a Little Soldiers First Aid Course, attendees will be given the opportunity to practice first aid techniques on a manikin. We take great care in promoting health & safety and infection control using antibacterial wipes and face shields. This is an optional element of the class. Please declare any health problems at the start of the course.

Confidentiality

Little Soldiers First Aid works hard to protect the confidentiality of its clients, in accordance with the NMC Code (2015), (Professional standards for practice and behaviour for nurses and midwives).
